Michelle Robbins, Inside Out Body Therapy Massage, Bodywork and Wellness

 About Michelle

imageHello! I am Michelle Robbins, founder of Inside Out Body Therapy. I created my practice through the combination of studies in massage and bodywork, digestive health and how our environment affects health. I am a Nationally Certified massage therapist and bodyworker (NCBTMB), hold a B.S. in Environmental Science, and am a Loomis Institute Certified Digestive Health Specialist. I do enjoy all those letters after my name, but here's the gist:

A massage therapist since 1999, my specialties are deep tissue therapy and structural bodywork. I have had great success helping clients with chronic pain in the neck, upper and lower back, shoulder issues and more. My clients have presented with a variety of issues: Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, Arthritises, aches, pains and general stress. The style of massage I do varies with each client's needs. Typically the focus of a session is to lengthen shortented tissues. This allows overstretched tissues to reset to a healthier resting length, then all the body functions more efficiently: lessening pain, improving mobility, and creating a happier and healthier you.

Environmental impacts on health are issues dear to my heart, as I began dealing with intense chemical sensitivites in the early 1990s. I have researched, and still utilize, chemical-free cleaning methods, teach workshops, use fresh air plants, and so much more. Opening my practice in Williston in 2011 is allowing me to re-immerse myself into research and sharing new and simple ways we can all be healthier through better choices in our personal care products, cleaning methods, and how we furnish and decorate our homes and offices.

imageInside Out Body Therapy is the culmination of health from all perspectives--wellness inside and out.  I hope you will join me for a session or a workshop soon!
